Julio Molina (b.Latin-America) is a filmmaker who resides and teaches in the UK. With a background in documentary and film sound, his interests span the essay film, ludic filmmaking methodologies, transnational modes of production, and fostering creative communities. Julio has worked in over five countries and received international awards for his work. He has received awards for his documentaries ‘Paso a Paso’ and ‘Querido Camilo’, the latter being part of the DOCTV Iberoamérica documentary series that has been broadcast on television in 13 countries, in addition to having participated at international festivals such as IDFA, DocsDF and the Miami International Film Festival. He is currently Senior Lecturer in Film Production University of Winchester, UK
